So apparently there’s a big release next week and it does not end in “wilight”.  In fact it is one of the highest grossing movies of all time.

You have to give James Cameron credit; he knows how to craft a blockbuster and sell tickets. Now while the 3d version is still a year away, most of us don’t have the technology at home to experience it that way yet.

The 2d Blu-Ray and DVD editions of “Avatar” releases on Earth Day at midnight. That, for us dately challenged, is Friday, 4/23/2010, at 12:01 am.

Stop by and pick up one of the most incredible films ever created!

Yes, We’re Adults…

Edit: Event Postponed…For Now. Maybe Back For Pokémon Black & White?

The first thing I thought when the idea was pitched to me this morning was, “You’ve got to be kidding me…” but the more I thought of it, the more I think it’s an awesome idea.

You’ve got us, 20-something adults, addicted to an RPG that we probably shouldn’t be addicted to. And now we want to challenge YOU to it.

Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver released today, which are essentially remakes of the Game Boy classics (I played ”Gold” when I was 17-18, I think), with new characters, new story elements, etc.

We are currently formulating a tournament structure (with prizes, of course) for customers who purchase the game from us and wish to challenge the Best Buy Gym Leaders (yeah, I went there).

Full details will be coming soon…so start training your 6 and we’ll see you on the battlefield (banner image will come tonight).

Third Time’s a Charm

When I first saw a few videos of God of War 3, I thought, “It’s God of War in HD.”  And then I thought, “…That is not a bad thing at all.”
Someone at Sony had a brilliant idea – Take one of the best action games in the past decade, throw giant bosses at you every [...]

Colts or Saints?

I was reading ESPN earlier. They had a nice article about whoever wins the coin toss is more likely to lose. And all this time I thought it was about which team played the game better. Live and learn, I guess.
As a disgruntled Cowboys fan (Boo! Hissss!), I don’t really have much to root for [...]

4 8 15 16 23 42…

Addictions are usually something I consider to be a negative thing. But there’s one addiction I have that I am proud to have – an addiction to LOST.
Yes, ask any LOST fan what the greatest show in the world is and their answer will undoubtedly be LOST.  It’s kind of a love-hate show…stay with me [...]
