Colts or Saints?

I was reading ESPN earlier. They had a nice article about whoever wins the coin toss is more likely to lose. And all this time I thought it was about which team played the game better. Live and learn, I guess.

As a disgruntled Cowboys fan (Boo! Hissss!), I don’t really have much to root for during the game, but I will say I expect to see one heck of a quarterback duel. Both the legendary Manning and the red-hot Brees have had outstanding years and I expect that to continue tonight.

Hope everyone has their HDTV tuned to the game tonight and I pray the commercials are better than last year’s poor performance. I mean, c’mon. The only time I don’t TiVo through the commercials and they were terrible!

(And won’t it be nice next year when the Cowboys make the Super Bowl at their own stadium?)

Addictions are usually something I consider to be a negative thing. But there’s one addiction I have that I am proud to have – an addiction to LOST.

Yes, ask any LOST fan what the greatest show in the world is and their answer will undoubtedly be LOST.  It’s kind of a love-hate show…stay with me here…It’s a character drama that’s routed in science fiction, deep with mythology, and if you dig, you’ll find tons of religious and philosophical references spliced into every episode which explain (or make you question) the direction they are headed. It’s not a show you can tune into in season 2 and understand what is going on, let alone episode 2. You don’t miss episodes of LOST because your friends who are LOSTies (yes, we have a classification) will undoubtedly be texting you during the episode during the “Oh!” moments.

Will I at all try to summarize the show? Nope, because to be honest, I don’t even know, nor would I want to spoil every little surprise.  The basics? It’s a story of a group of people who were survive a plane crash on a mysterious island and the story that follows.  Lost fans may be looking at this description with a bit of a cock-eye, but you’re going to have to watch to find out what I mean and what you’re missing.  The writers are so incredible at changing course that it’s foolish to try to predict what happens next — but that’s what makes it such an amazing show. Stand by the watercooler at work in February on Wednesdays, take a close listen, and more than likely someone will be theorizing and debating about LOST.

And unfortunately, this fun lasts only one more season. This February, only 18 hours and 16 episodes remain of the show LOST as we know it. So stop in, pick up seasons 1-5 and get into it before the show ends. Trust me, I’ve witnessed 5 people get through 5 seasons in less than a month, so it’s very attainable.

Tune in to ABC on Feb 2nd for the 2-hour season premiere. Guess who’s not working that night.

Locked and Loaded…Let’s Move Out.

If I had to buy an XBOX360 or a PS3 all over again, this is the game that would make me do it.
I don’t normally refer to games as “system sellers,” but over the past couple of years, there has been one game that I have routinely come back to and always had fun with. [...]
